Cable Beach is one of the best beaches in Nassau and is where the new $3.2 Billion Bahamar resort is currently being developed. The area is a popular one for tourists and locals with a variety of restaurants and shops. The area is also a vibrant residential location with many locals and expatriates living there. Almost every type of residential property is featured in the area including beachfront condominiums, inland homes and beachfront homes. Sandyport, a gated residential neighbourhood is also located in this area which is popular with boating enthusiasts because of its extensive canal system.
